COURSE DESCRIPTION
Please note that the course can change even up to the last minute...please verify race course on the day of the event!

Now we know for some of you, gravity racing may not be your thing. But our Super D courses are designed with the cross-country crowd in mind. This course is a longer Super Downhill course (winning times will be between 18-20 minutes) with lots of fun Super DH action where riders can be competitive on X-country or downhill bike setups (downhill bike rental specials are available for racers at the Trestle Bike Park Shop). It's held on good, pure, descending singletrack with good passing sections and a couple sprint climbs to keep downhillers honest. We’ll have a LeMans style start, with about .2 mile of climb to the entry of Long Trail where the descent begins. Last season when we debuted this course, it was our second highest rated course of the year in rider satisfaction (behind Tipperary/King of the Rockies). Think twenty minutes is too short? Your entry gets you a full day of lift-accessed riding at Winter Park, so take advantage and ride some of the great single-track at the top of the mountain after the race!

  • Start on the mountain road near the top of the Jabberwocky ski trail (about halfway between Sunspot and the bottom of the High Lonesome lift).
  • Race up to the top of Long Trail.
  • Down Long Trail all the way through 5 Points and Four Points.
  • Continue on Long Trail until it meets 300 yard walk/Tunnel Hill.
  • Turn right to connect with The Boulevard.
  • Take The Boulevard down to the finish at the base of Winter Park Resort.
Technical Information
Distance 5.5 miles
Vertical Drop: 1,620 feet
