COURSE DESCRIPTION
Please note that the course can change even up to the last minute...please
verify race course on the day of the event!
This is a local's favorite that has become one of our
classic courses. For 2009, in response to survey feedback, we've extended
the course for pro, expert, and sport riders. You won't want to miss
this race!
Due to ongoing USFS logging operations, route changes are possible
and riders should check back regularly for updates.
- Start on the Mountain Road just behind the Sorensen Park sign on the north end of the ski area base.
- Up the Mountain Road to the Four Points spur.
- Ride to 4 Points and across Long Trail.

right down Elk Creek Road to Chainsaw. Pros/experts/sports

- PRO/EXPERT/SPORT ADD-ON IN RED: Climb Elk Creek Rd to Sunken Bridges and turn right. Ride up Sunken Bridges to Forest Service Road 159 and turn right. After roughly 1/2 mile turn left onto a dirt road, then take an immediate right onto singletrack locally known as "Upper Zoom". At the end of "Upper Zoom" cross 159 to Zoom. Start down Zoom and take a quick right onto a singletrack trail locally known as "Iko". Ride "Iko" to its end on Elk Creek Road and turn left to Chainsaw.
- Turn left on Chainsaw Trail.
- Climb and then descend Chainsaw until it joins the Flume Trail.
- Follow the Flume Trail to Forest Service Road 159 and turn right.
